The Sri Lankan High Commission has announced the restoration of its online visa portal, allowing applicants to resume submitting Visit/Transit visa applications. The portal became operational from midnight on September 26, 2024.
Interested applicants can now apply for visas through the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) Online Portal at
www.eta.gov.lk.
In a statement, the Sri Lankan High Commission in Pakistan clarified that individuals who have already received approval for entry via email from the Department of Immigration and Emigration of Sri Lanka do not need to reapply through the online system.
The High Commission acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the temporary downtime and assured the public of continued efficient service moving forward.
