Islamabad: Trion wave Pvt. Ltd. proudly hosted a pivotal event aimed at combatting the escalating threat of cybercrime in the nation, sponsored by Kingdom Group and Kingdom Valley. A Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar was held at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, where the Cyber Security Research Initiative (CSRI) and an e-learning platform were also launched in the presence of FIA officials. This platform is going to offer tech-related courses such as cybersecurity, web design, and cloud computing.
From the FIA, Mr. Akram Mughal (Deputy Director Network Security CCW) and Mr. Ayaz Khan (Additional Director Operations FIA) attended and delivered detailed speeches on the importance of cybercrime awareness, discussing the issues and solutions related to cybercrime faced by the public.
Mr. Ghulam Hussain Shahid, Chairman of Kingdom Group and Kingdom Valley, also participated in the event and mentioned that cybercrime threats are faced not only on an individual level but also at a business level. He emphasised that housing societies are often defamed using cybercrimes, which is why Kingdom Group actively participated in this research initiative and will continue to fully support such seminars in the future. The event was attended by several notable personalities of the country.
Besides, Mr. Sajid Manzoor (CEO Trion wave Pvt Ltd) stated that cybercrime is an escalating issue. Therefore, Trion wave Pvt. Ltd. will continue to organize such seminars in the future to address these issues.
The event also attracted esteemed government officials such as Senator Ms. Sitara Ayaz and Mr. Mushahid Hussain Syed, alongside corporate figures like Mr. Muhammad Shahbaz, CEO of Naqeebz, and Ms. Shazia Hussain, CEO of Eduvate UK.
