Islamabad: The Embassy of Romania organized a special Christmas concert on December 19 to mark the conclusion of the Romanian Cultural Days in Pakistan. The event was held at St. Thomas Church in Islamabad and offered a beautiful blend of music, culture, and community in the joyful and festive spirit of Christmas.

An Evening of Music

The concert featured the renowned Romanian soprano Georgiana Costea-Gloghe, who captivated the audience with her enchanting voice, accompanied by pianist Sheza Maqsood. Together, they performed a delightful selection of traditional Christmas carols and seasonal music. The audience enjoyed famous Romanian carols such as “Moș Crăciun cu Plete Dalbe” and “O, Ce Veste Minunată,” along with globally cherished classics including “Silent Night” and other beloved Christmas melodies.

Celebration of Cultural Harmony

Members of the diplomatic community, the Romanian community, friends of Romania, and music enthusiasts attended the concert. The event highlighted the unifying power of culture and music and reflected the shared values of the Christmas season—peace, goodwill, and harmony.
