He commended Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his companions for their tireless struggle that brought Pakistan into existence, while praising the Armed Forces for safeguarding the nation's sovereignty.
Dr. Zaman emphasized that Pakistan's firm resolve and national unity send a clear message to adversaries that the country possesses the full capability to defend its territorial integrity.
Historic Tributes: Remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and national martyrs.
Defense Alliances: Highlighting the recent Makkah Joint Defense Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye as a milestone for regional stability.

Promoting Heritage Through Federal Capital Educational Tour
As part of the Independence Day festivities, the university's Green Office—in collaboration with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and Life Saver—organized a specialized double-decker bus tour of Islamabad's key recreational and historical landmarks.
Faculty members, staff, and children participated in the exposure trip across the federal capital. Dr. Zaman praised the initiative, noting that such educational tours instill patriotism in the younger generation while celebrating national events in a meaningful manner.
The Independence Day ceremony concluded with special prayers for the elevation of martyrs' ranks, as well as the long-term peace, security, and economic prosperity of Pakistan.
