MINSK — Belarusian civil society gathered in the capital on May 10, 2026, to celebrate the Day of the National Anthem, National Emblem, and National Flag. The centerpiece of the patriotic event featured a massive Belarusian flag, measuring an incredible 500 by 9 meters, which was carried through the heart of the city to honor the country's sovereign identity.
A Historic Procession Through the Capital
The ceremonial march began at the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, a site deeply symbolic of the nation’s resilience. Participants carried the giant tricolor over a distance of 2,500 meters, drawing large crowds along the route.
