Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, held a telephone conversation with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to discuss the current regional situation and reaffirm the strong ties between the two countries.
During the call, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the recent military attacks and terrorist acts against Azerbaijan and expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Azerbaijani government and its armed forces. He emphasized that Pakistan stands firmly with Azerbaijan in these difficult times and that Azerbaijan can always rely on Pakistan’s support.
The two leaders also highlighted the longstanding friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, noting that both countries have consistently supported each other during challenging as well as positive times.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued cooperation and mutual support, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
