The 32nd edition of Textile Asia International Exhibition 2026, one of Pakistan's leading textile industry events, concluded in Lahore on Sunday after attracting more than 2,000 international brands, over 425 participating companies, and official delegations from eight countries.
The three-day exhibition, which opened on Friday, highlighted the latest innovations in textile and garment machinery, fabrics, accessories, raw materials, dyes, chemicals, and other key segments of the textile value chain. The event served as a platform for manufacturers, exporters, investors, buyers, and industry professionals to explore new business opportunities and strengthen international partnerships.
According to organizers, participating countries included China, Türkiye, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Russia, reflecting the exhibition's growing international profile.
Pakistan's textile industry remains the backbone of the country's manufacturing sector, contributing around 46 percent of total industrial output while providing employment to nearly 40 percent of the national workforce. The sector also continues to be Pakistan's largest export industry, generating approximately US$17.97 billion in export earnings during the previous fiscal year, according to the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA).
Organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the exhibition showcased advanced textile technologies, automation solutions, digital manufacturing systems, and value-added production capabilities, reinforcing Pakistan's position as a key player in the regional textile market.
