The 9th Round of Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) between Pakistan and Poland took place on July 4, 2025, in Warsaw. The Pakistani delegation was headed by Ambassador Muhammad Ayub, Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe), while the Polish side was led by Secretary of State Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Also present were Ambassador Muhammad Sami-ur-Rehman, Pakistan’s envoy to Poland, and Ambassador Maciej Pisarski, Poland’s envoy to Pakistan.

The talks covered the entire range of bilateral cooperation, with both sides expressing intent to strengthen ties in trade, investment, defence, energy, science and technology, migration, and higher education. They also discussed regional and international developments, including in South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, agreeing to maintain close coordination at multilateral platforms, including the United Nations.

Both countries agreed to deepen cooperation through high-level visits, parliamentary exchanges, and structured dialogue. The next round of consultations will be held in Islamabad in 2026.
