KARACHI — The first phase of the Regional Cricket Association Karachi (RCAK) Talent Hunt Programme will officially launch on Sunday, August 23, 2026, with the opening of the Touchme Trophy Under-15 Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament at the historic KCCA Stadium.

The opening fixture will feature Zone-III Blues taking on Zone-IV Blues at the KCCA Stadium. Zahid Hussain Bhatti, Executive Director of the Medicam Group of Companies, will attend as the Chief Guest, while Ali Hussain, Secretary of RCAK, will preside over the opening ceremony.

Tournament Structure and Rules

The event is organized by RCAK in collaboration with the Medicam Group of Companies to identify and nurture young grassroots talent across Karachi.

• Participating Teams: A total of 16 zonal teams are competing, including two teams from each zone and three teams each representing Zone-III and Zone-IV.

• Match Format: All tournament matches will strictly follow Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) One Day Tournament rules on a 40-overs-per-side basis.

• Bowling Restrictions: Individual bowlers are restricted to a maximum of 8 overs per innings.

Scrutiny Reporting Timings

Khalid Nafees, Chairman of the Tournament Committee, advised all selected players to report for player scrutiny on Sunday, August 23, at the KCCA Stadium according to the following schedule:

• 8:30 AM: Selected players from Zone-III Blues and Zone-IV Blues.

• 12:00 PM: Selected players from all other zones (reporting to M. Touseef Siddiqui, Joint Secretary RCA Karachi, or their respective zonal officials).
