A Tree Plantation campaign inaugurated at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) Sub-Campus Attock, here on Wednesday.
PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem was the chief guest on the occasion while the Ceremony was also attended by the University Deans, Directors, Registrar, Controller Examination, Principal Officers, PD Sub Campus Attock and faculty members.
While addressing, Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Naeem emphasized on the foundation of a modern and innovative education system for sustainable growth of the economy. He also highlighted the initiatives taken by the varsity administration for equipping the youth with modern technology oriented education.
Dr. Naeem advised the students to plant maximum trees for the survival of all living beings on the earth and every student should participate in the tree plantation drives as it is our prime responsibility to save the natural environment.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor along with Deans/Directors inaugurated the campaign by planting a sapling and prayed for the solidarity of the country and progress of the University.
