The steady increase in the number of HIV patients in Sindh province is a growing concern, affecting thousands of individuals annually. Health department data from the Sindh government reveals that in over a dozen districts, including Karachi and Hyderabad, 2,142 HIV cases were registered this year. Karachi leads with 477 reported cases, while Hyderabad ranks third with 226 cases. Larkana holds the second position with 250 reported cases. Notably, HIV cases have also been documented in Khairpur Meris and other districts, emphasizing the need for comprehensive public health initiatives.
