Today, The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif led a high-ranking delegation of Pakistani officials to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad. The purpose of the visit was to express profound sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Iran following the tragic martyrdom of President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hussain Amirabdollahian, and their companion.

 

In a solemn display of solidarity, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif conveyed the deep sorrow and grief felt by the Pakistani nation over the untimely loss of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian, and their esteemed colleague during meeting with Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad. The Prime Minister underscored the enduring bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Iran, emphasizing Pakistan’s unwavering support during this difficult time.

 

The delegation paid tribute to the exceptional leadership and contributions of President Raisi and Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian to the progress and prosperity of Iran.
