A collaborative effort between the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) and the Punjab Tourism Department, an Awareness and Outreach event held at Serena Hotel Islamabad's Sheesh Mahal Hall marked the commencement of this thrilling journey, scheduled to unfold from February 20th to 25th. Covering a challenging 500 km route, the rally not only promises an exhilarating sporting spectacle but also acts as a vibrant platform to showcase the Cholistan Desert's rich heritage and natural beauty. Under the Tourism Awareness and Outreach Programme, Commissioner Bahawalpur Dr. Ehtesham Anwar, MDPTDC Rana Aftab-ur-Rehman, and GM Operations Arjumand Zia, alongside foreign ambassadors and distinguished guests, were briefed on the rally's pivotal role in promoting tourism and fostering socio-economic development in South Punjab. Tourism Secretary Punjab Raja Jahangir Anwar extended a heartfelt invitation to the global community, emphasizing that the event transcends racing—it's a celebration of culture and history.
