Portuguese author and journalist Teresa Nicolau will visit Lahore from February 21 to 24 for a series of cultural and literary engagements.
According to the press note, Ms. Teresa Nicolau will visit the University of South Asia, Lahore, On Friday, 21st February with the Portuguese Ambassador Frederico Silva, holding an interactive session with students and professors, discussing arts, society, literature, journalism, and cross-cultural narratives.
Later in the day, she will attend the Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) 2025 opening ceremony and she will be chairing the panel discussion, “The City as a Character”, alongside acclaimed authors David Wagner, Sofka Zinovieff, Mohsin Hamid, and Osama Siddique.
On Saturday, 22nd, Teresa Nicolau will participate in the panel “Art, Rebellion and Subversion: Does Money Matter?”, alongside other authors Clemens Berger, Lucy Fricke, Omar Shahid Hamid, and Awais Khan.
Finally, on Monday, 24th, Agha Khan Cultural Services, Lahore will be hosting in the Lahore Fort, an interactive session with the Portuguese Author and the Portuguese Ambassador Frederico Silva bringing together intellectuals, media, and cultural figures for discussions on heritage, culture, language, communication, society, and artistic expression.
All those events and session are managed by the Embassy of Portugal in Islamabad in cooperation with Lahore entities with the support of Camões Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I. P, underscoring Portugal’s commitment to cultural exchange and literary collaborations.
