Iranian President’s Visit to Pakistan Leads to Release of 28 Pakistani Prisoners

Following the recent diplomatic engagement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan, a significant humanitarian gesture has been made, underscoring the longstanding bond between the two brotherly nations.

 

In a display of Islamic compassion and goodwill, 28 Pakistani prisoners have been released and returned to their homeland, Pakistan. This benevolent act comes as a result of the recent visit of the honorable Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to Pakistan, where discussions centered on fostering closer ties and addressing mutual concerns.

 

The suspension of these prison sentences underscores the shared values of Islamic brotherhood and the commitment to humanitarian goals. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan to announce this positive development, which highlights the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, expressed his delight on the development, stating, “I wish there were no crime on earth so that all the jail doors could be left wide open. So delighted to see 28 prisoners from the brotherly country of Pakistan could return back home. Wishing to see Iranian prisoners in Pakistan could hug their loved ones soon.”

 

The news of the prisoners’ release has been disseminated across all official social media platforms of the Embassy, reaffirming the commitment to transparency and open communication.
