ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN – The Accountability Court, presided over by Judge Muhammad Bashir at Adiala Jail, has approved a two-day physical remand for Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in connection with the Tosha Khana case.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had initially requested a 7-day remand, and Imran Khan is scheduled to appear in court again on December 16.

Notably, the court dismissed Imran Khan’s pre-arrest bail application in the Toshakhana case just yesterday.

The accountability court’s decision emphasized irregularities in the collection of Tosha Khana gifts in Badi-Nazar, leading to the decision for a brief physical remand.

Despite the remand, Imran Khan will remain in jail and undergo questioning on-site. Previously, he was on interim bail in the NAB Tosha Khana case.
