Commencing at 8 AM local time, over 15,000 candidates vie for seats in a fiercely competitive election, with an impressive 51 candidates contending for each position. The Constitutional Council's spokesperson, Tahan Nazif, disclosed that more than 350 foreign journalists are covering the elections, underlining the global significance of this democratic exercise. Additionally, approximately 230,000 public observers actively engage in overseeing the electoral process, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Security remains a top priority, with over 250,000 dedicated personnel strategically placed across the nation. Iran's Deputy Minister of Interior revealed that nearly 300,000 individuals are committed to safeguarding the electoral process, emphasizing the government's unwavering dedication to a secure and fair election.
