The Chief of the Pakistan Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, embarked on a momentous journey to the headquarters of China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy in Qingdao, China. During this landmark occasion, Admiral Ashraf engaged in substantive discussions with Chinese Navy Commander Admiral Hu Zhongming, aimed at fortifying bilateral naval cooperation and addressing pressing regional maritime security concerns.
Admiral Ashraf underscored the pivotal role of the Pakistan Navy in fostering regional maritime peace and stability, underscoring the importance of Maritime Security Patrol operations in achieving this objective. He reaffirmed Pakistan Navy’s steadfast commitment to ensuring security in the maritime domain.
In response, Commander People’s Liberation Army Navy, Admiral Hu Zhongming, expressed admiration for the contributions of the Pakistan Navy towards joint maritime security endeavors in the region. He stressed the imperative of fostering robust bilateral maritime cooperation to enhance regional stability.
