Web Desk — Two individuals sustained minor shrapnel injuries after a projectile struck a building in the northern Israeli city of Haifa, emergency services confirmed on Sunday. Both injured persons were evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred during a wider Iranian missile barrage targeting northern Israel. According to Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency service, rescue teams responded swiftly to the scene, where a large fire had broken out amid widespread damage.
according to CNN Footage released by the MDA showed firefighters and medics operating amid smoke and debris, extinguishing flames and assisting victims. Images also revealed several vehicles engulfed in flames near partially destroyed structures, underscoring the intensity of the blast.
