Turkish Foreign Minister Meets with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan paid a courtesy visit to General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), in Rawalpindi today.

 

During their meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, reflecting the strong and longstanding ties between Turkey and Pakistan. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the deep-rooted relations between the two countries, which are founded on historical, cultural, and religious bonds.

 

The visiting dignitary commended the Pakistan Army for its pivotal role in maintaining peace and stability in the region. General Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation with Turkey in various fields for the mutual benefit of both nations.

 

The meeting concluded on a positive note, reaffirming the commitment of both Turkey and Pakistan to continue strengthening their bilateral relationship.
