U.S. President Donald Trump has said he is committed to working with both Pakistan and India to explore a solution to the Kashmir dispute.

In a statement, Trump emphasized his willingness to cooperate with both countries in an effort to resolve the long-standing issue of Kashmir. He also expressed his intention to enhance trade relations with both nations.

Praising the recent ceasefire agreement, Trump stated that the leadership of Pakistan and India recognized it was time to halt the conflict—a move that potentially averted widespread destruction and the loss of countless lives.

Trump expressed pride in the role the United States played in facilitating this significant development.

Reiterating his commitment, the U.S. President declared his ambition to strengthen trade ties with both Pakistan and India.

It is worth noting that just a day earlier, Trump had announced that India and Pakistan had agreed to a ceasefire. He commended both countries for showing wisdom and restraint.

In a post on social media platform X, Trump said that through U.S. mediation, both countries had agreed to an immediate and complete ceasefire.
