In a cordial telephone conversation, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, extended warm congratulations to Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. President Raisi expressed delight over the successful conduct of Pakistan’s national elections, the formation of the parliament, and Prime Minister Sharif’s election.

 

President Raisi conveyed his optimistic outlook for the future, stating, “During your new term as Prime Minister, we will build upon our collaborative efforts to enhance the relations between our two nations. It is our shared goal to complete existing projects and embark on new initiatives that will contribute to the mutual prosperity of our people.”

 

Highlighting the potential for unified action, President Raisi emphasized the importance of Prime Minister Sharif’s leadership in reinforcing the anti-Zionist stance within the Islamic world. Both leaders pledged to collaborate with other Islamic nations to address and halt the perceived transgressions of the Zionist regime in Gaza.

 

In a bid to solidify these diplomatic aspirations, the leaders committed to materializing the imminent visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan. This visit aims to further strengthen the bonds between the two nations and facilitate meaningful discussions on regional and global matters of shared interest.

 

President Raisi expressed hope for a future visit, stating, “I look forward to the opportunity to meet with the officials and the honorable people of Pakistan in the near future, fostering deeper understanding and cooperation.”
