The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, called on the Minister for Defence, Defence Production, and Aviation, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, at his office in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to bilateral defence and economic cooperation, along with issues related to aviation.
The Defence Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the peaceful resolution of all outstanding regional issues and appreciated Tajikistan’s efforts in promoting peace and economic connectivity in the region.
At the end, the Tajik Ambassador emphasized the brotherly ties between the people of Tajikistan and Pakistan and assured his government’s commitment to collaboration with Pakistan in various areas of mutual interest.
