According to the Saudi Arabian Astronomical Society, the sun will be directly above the Kaaba at 12:27 PM local time. In Pakistan, this alignment will occur at 2:27 PM.
This event allows Muslims worldwide to determine the accurate direction of the Qibla without the need for a compass. During this alignment, the sun is directly parallel to the Kaaba, causing the structure to cast no shadow.
