The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, will participate in the oath-taking ceremony of the President-Elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian. The ceremony is scheduled to be held in Tehran on July 30th, 2024.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s attendance at the ceremony underscores the strong and enduring ties between Pakistan and Iran, and reflects the commitment of both nations to further strengthening their bilateral relationship.
The Prime Minister will also take this opportunity to engage in discussions with President-Elect Pezeshkian and other Iranian officials on matters of mutual interest, focusing on enhancing cooperation in various fields including trade, energy, and regional security.
This visit is expected to pave the way for a renewed partnership between Pakistan and Iran, fostering peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
