President Xi Jinping emphasized the need for Chinese political advisors to build a broad consensus aimed at contributing to the ongoing process of Chinese modernization during the second session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference held in Beijing.

 

President Xi, who serves as the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and as chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered a compelling message during his participation in a joint group meeting.

 

According to China Media, Xi urged political advisors representing diverse backgrounds—spanning political parties, organizations, ethnic groups, sectors, and all walks of life—to engage in profound research. The objective is to actively provide valuable suggestions aligned with the major strategic tasks delineated by the 20th CPC National Congress and the meticulously crafted arrangements made by the Central Economic Work Conference.

 

The meeting witnessed the active participation of political advisors from esteemed bodies such as the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, the sector of science and technology, and the sector of environment and resources.
