By The World Ambassador TWA _____ The Embassy of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with the Government of Punjab and the Walled City of Lahore Authority, hosted the Korea-Pakistan Cultural Night on Saturday, May 31, at the Picture Wall inside the Lahore Fort, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

Part of the Eoullim Korean Culture Festival 2025, the event was themed "Echoes from History, Harmony through Cultures" and featured a range of traditional music and dance performances from both Korea and Pakistan.

Korean artists included renowned sorikkun Sumi Pang, daegeum (bamboo flute) player Mr. Sungjae Lee, the Samulnori troupe "Youheung," and the Pansori Ensemble "Harang-ga." The Pakistani national Taekwondo team also performed a dynamic Taekwondo demonstration.

From the Pakistani side, the audience was treated to performances of Bansuri, Tabla, Dholak, along with Kathak and Dhamal dances, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region.

A special highlight was the collaborative segment featuring a duet between Korea’s Daegeum and Pakistan’s Bansuri, and a joint performance of Korea’s Pangut and Pakistan’s Dhamal, beautifully blending the traditional sounds and rhythms of both nations.
