The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warns against what is being circulated in the name of the “Temple Mount Activists Organization” on social media networks regarding the bombing of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in preparation for building the alleged temple in the place, under the slogan “Soon in these days”, noting that this is not the first time that the so-called “Temple Mount Organizations” Union has incited against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, as the image of the alleged temple in place of the Dome of the Rock is constantly promoted.
The Ministry views this ongoing incitement with great concern, especially since it is accompanied by the escalation in the storming of the mosque by Jewish extremists and the performance of Talmudic prayers and religious rituals in its courtyards in an unprecedented manner, especially epic prostration, blowing the trumpet, various forms of dancing, raising the Israeli flag, and others, which the Ministry considers a noticeable escalation in targeting Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian sanctities in general and Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular, in light of the participation of ministers and members of the Knesset in these stormings, most notably the extremist Minister Ben Gvir, which means official political protection and support for these Judaization colonial measures that target the mosque to consecrate its temporal division on the path to dividing it spatially, if not demolishing it completely and building the alleged temple in its place.
The Ministry also warns against the consequences of extremist settlement organizations and associations attacking Al-Aqsa, especially the repercussions of this aggression in exploding the arena of conflict and the entire region.
The Ministry continues to coordinate its efforts to confront the targeting of Al-Aqsa, the holy sites and Jerusalem with our brothers in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to amplify global condemnations of this targeting and demand urgent action to mobilize the broadest international pressure front to stop this targeting, and provide international protection for our people in general and for Jerusalem, its holy sites and Al-Aqsa in particular.
The Ministry affirms that the failure of the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards what our people and Al-Aqsa are exposed to encourages the extremist Israeli government to escalate its aggression, crimes and targeting of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
