The esteemed Iranian President, Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, has commenced a significant three-day official visit to Pakistan, underscoring the enduring bonds between the two nations. His arrival at Nur Khan Airbase was met with a gracious welcome extended by Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada, exemplifying the warmth and respect characterizing bilateral relations.
Accompanied by his esteemed spouse and a distinguished high-level delegation, including the Foreign Minister and key cabinet members, senior officials, and representatives from the business sector, President Raisi’s visit heralds a new chapter of collaboration and mutual understanding.
The Iranian President will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today. There will also be a round of delegation level talks between the two countries.
Upon arrival at the Prime Minister House, guard of honor will be presented to the visiting dignitary.
The Iranian President and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will plant a sapling in the Prime Minister’s House on the occasion of Earth Day. Moreover, the two leaders will attend the signing ceremony of memorandums of understanding between the two countries for cooperation in various fields.
The two leaders will participate in a ceremony regarding naming a highway in Islamabad as Iran Avenue. They will also hold a press talk.
Prime Minister Sharif will host a luncheon in honor of President Raisi and his esteemed delegation, providing an opportunity for meaningful exchanges and further strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation.
The visit of President Raisi underscores the unwavering commitment of both Pakistan and Iran to deepen bilateral relations and advance shared goals of peace, prosperity, and regional stability.
