Pakistan Business Association Korea Appoints Shafiq Khan as Head of Welfare, Announces Relief Mission for Flood Victims

The Pakistan Business Association (PBA) Korea has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Shafiq Khan as the new Head of Welfare. This important decision reflects the organization’s commitment to further strengthening its welfare initiatives and community support programs.

According to PBA Korea, Mr. Shafiq Khan’s extensive experience in social and welfare services makes him the ideal choice for this role. He is expected to expand ongoing welfare projects and introduce new initiatives in collaboration with other welfare organizations to better serve the Pakistani community. The association has expressed full confidence in his leadership, highlighting that his guidance will ensure greater transparency, sustainability, and effectiveness in welfare activities.

In addition, PBA Korea expressed deep concern over the devastating flood situation in Pakistan. The association announced that a special delegation of PBA officials  from Korea will soon visit flood-affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The mission will provide essential relief supplies, food items, and medical facilities to the affected families, aiming to ease their suffering during this difficult time.

Speaking to ABID CHAUDHRY, the newly appointed Welfare Head, Mr. Shafiq Khan, emphasized that the recently elected President of PBA Korea, Mr. Rahim Shah, also belongs to a flood-affected region of Pakistan. He noted that Mr. Rahim Shah’s background will play a vital role in ensuring the fair and effective distribution of aid among those most in need.

Mr. Shafiq Khan further stated that he is fully committed to addressing the issues of the Pakistani community and will utilize his skills and experience to enhance welfare services both in Korea and Pakistan. He stressed that PBA Korea’s mission is not only to support overseas Pakistanis but also to stand with the nation in times of natural disasters and emergencies.

This announcement marks a significant step for the association as it embarks on a new chapter of community service, solidarity, and welfare development.
