In a move to enhance cultural relations, the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and the Embassy of Kazakhstan jointly organized the screening of a movie titled “Kazakh Khanate – Diamond Sword” at the PNCA auditorium. The event, attended by Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi, Caretaker Minister for National Heritage & Culture Jamal Shah, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E Yerzhan Kistafin, and Director General PNCA Muhammad Ayoub Jamali, aimed to foster cultural values of tolerance and harmony in society.
Minister Murtaza Solangi emphasized the importance of promoting cinema for cultural enrichment, stating that cinema is a powerful tool for education and sensitization. Expressing gratitude to the Kazakh ambassador and Minister Jamal Shah, he pledged to work towards promoting culture through cinema.
Minister Jamal Shah commended the educational value of the Kazakh movie, highlighting its themes of honor, solidarity, and dignity. He stressed the growing cultural ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, emphasizing the significance of cultural exchanges.
Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin underscored the historical insights provided by the film, showcasing the life, geopolitical conditions, and details of the Kazakh Khanate in the fifteenth century. He praised the collaboration between PNCA and the National Heritage and Culture Division for organizing the Kazakhstan movie screening.
The screening of “Kazakh Khanate: Diamond Sword” was conducted in the Urdu language, portraying the history of fifteenth-century Eurasia. The event signifies a step towards deepening cultural relationships between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
