Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, undertook a significant visit to Saudi Arabia, where he met with General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff, Saudi Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Turki Bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces.

 

The meetings, held in Riyadh, centered on enhancing the longstanding defense cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with a specific emphasis on strengthening collaboration between the two Air Forces. Discussions included plans for joint military exercises and technological partnerships aimed at bolstering the capabilities of both nations.

 

In recognition of his exceptional contributions to fostering bilateral ties, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu was honored with the prestigious King Abdul Aziz Badge of Honor of the Excellent Class. The award was presented by General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff, Saudi Armed Forces, underscoring the mutual respect and appreciation between the two nations.

 

This visit marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to deepen defense relations and highlights the commitment of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to regional stability and security.
