PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN – The repatriation of illegal foreigners from Pakistan continues, with a total of 217,825 immigrants sent back to Afghanistan via three border points in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The KP Home Department reports that 214,194 immigrants were repatriated through the Torkham border. This includes 18,167 families, comprising 60,307 males, 47,221 females, and 106,666 children since September 17, 2023, to date.
Additionally, 3,212 foreigners were repatriated via Angoor Ada at the Lower Waziristan border, and 410 through the Kharlachi border in Kurram district.
On November 15, a total of 522 families, with 525 males, 493 females, and 974 children, were repatriated to Afghanistan via the Torkham border. In the same period, 233 illegal foreigners were deported through Torkham.
