Moroccan Ambassador Hosts Dinner in Honor of Pakistan-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group

The Moroccan Ambassador to Pakistan hosted a dinner in honor of the Pakistan-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group (PFG), attended by a large number of renowned Members of the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar, Raja Parvez Ashraf, Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, Tariq Fazal Chudhary, Sardar Nabil Ahmed Gabol, Khurshed Ahmed Junejo, Zulfiqar Sattar Bachani, Asad Alam Niazi, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Muhammad Azhar Khan Leghari, Fateh Khan, Shaista Pervaiz, Akhtar Bibi, Zahra Wadood Fatemi, Nuzhat Sadiq, Sehar Kamran, Sabheen Ghoury alongwith Special Invitees Hon CG of Morocco Ishtiaq Baig, Additional Secretary Africa MOFA Hamid Asghar, Ghalib Iqbal and Mian Akram Farid.

 

The event, held at the residence of the Moroccan Ambassador, celebrated the enduring friendship between the two nations and underscored the importance of deepening bilateral ties through parliamentary cooperation.

 

During the event, Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Convener of Pakistan-Morocco PFG, expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for hosting the event and highlighted the rich historical, cultural, and deeply rooted relations between Pakistan and Morocco. He emphasized the shared values that have long bonded the two countries and the potential for further strengthening these ties through continued cooperation at all levels.

 

In his remarks, the Moroccan Ambassador extended his sincere thanks to the parliamentarians for attending the event. He reiterated Morocco’s commitment to enhancing parliamentary relations between the two countries and called for increased collaboration in tackling global challenges.

 

The Ambassador also stressed the importance of encouraging visits between parliamentarians and expanding people-to-people contacts, recognizing these interactions as vital for fostering deeper mutual understanding and stronger diplomatic relations.

 

Both sides pledged to continue their efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two countries for the benefit of both nations and their people.
