The inaugural session of the official Taxila Press Club was held on July 26, 2025, at a local marriage hall where a large number of journalists from Taxila and Wah joined the session; representatives from various journalist organizations unanimously announced the dissolution of all previously existing press clubs operating under the name of “Press Club” and agreed on their merger into a unified Taxila Press Club.
Speakers expressed their gratitude to the MPA and Chairman Finance Committee Punjab Assembly Mr.Mohsin Ayub Khan whose special attention and personal interest made it possible to provide a Press Club office for Taxila journalists in the Community Hall, Taxila. They also appreciated the tireless efforts and contributions of Syed Waseem Shah and Hassan Ali Tahir.
The program was well conducted by the interim president Mr.Hassan Ali Tahir.Members of advisory Committee include;Qari Wali ur Rehman,AttaurRehman Chaudhry,Malik javed,Chaudhry Amjad and Sabir Ali.Soon the oath taking ceremony will be held.
