Lebanon’s newly elected President, Joseph Aoun, met with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, during his first official visit to Saudi Arabia. The meeting took place at the Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, where the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, matters of mutual interest, and the regional situation.
President Joseph Aoun arrived in Riyadh on Monday for his official visit, where he received a warm welcome. During the meeting, the Lebanese president praised Saudi Arabia’s support for Lebanon’s stability and highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral ties. He also acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting the integrity and regular functioning of Lebanon’s constitutional institutions.
Political analysts believe this first visit by the Lebanese president will significantly boost Saudi-Lebanese relations, paving the way for new agreements and increased cooperation in various sectors.
