The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Pakistan is set to launch Korean Cultural Week 2024 from October 22, with National Foundation Day and Armed Forces Day Reception at Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Islamabad and the first public event on October 23.
The week-long celebration will feature a series of cultural events aimed at fostering mutual understanding and strengthening ties between Korea and Pakistan.
Public events features two exciting programs including the Korea-Pakistan Cultural Gala on October 23 at Liaquat Gymnasium which will showcase mesmerizing music, dance, and art performances from Korea and Pakistan.
Additionally, the Korea-Pakistan Movie Day will screen four critically acclaimed films from October 24 to 27 at PNCA, Islamabad.
Korean movies “Ode to My Father” and “The Himalayas” would be showcased alongside Pakistani hits “Nayab” and “Superstar.” These films would highlight the diversity and creativity of both countries’ cinema.
On this occasion, the Korean Embassy shared a melodious video song (theme song of Korean Week 2024) by Ammar Baig, highlighting the similarities between Korea and Pakistan. The lyrics are as follows:
