The Department of Korean Language & Culture at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, organized “Korean Movie Day” alongside the Ambassador’s Lecture titled “Korea Meets Young Pakistan.”

Park Kijun, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Honorable Rector of NUML commended the Embassy’s continuous support and reaffirmed NUML’s dedication to strengthening international collaboration and cultural exchange.

The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Jamil Asghar Jami, Mr. Ahtisham Hussain, and Dr. Atif Faraz. The seminar featured a screening of a Korean film, an insightful lecture by the Ambassador, an energetic Samulnori (traditional percussion) performance by the EOLSSU Team, and a captivating vocal rendition of “Jindo Arirang.”

A large number of students participated enthusiastically in the event. The program concluded with the distribution of authentic Korean snacks, generously arranged by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
