Israel conducted a missile strike targeting Iran, resulting in explosions near Isfahan Airport and sparking widespread disruption across Iran.

According to reports from a foreign news agency, air services were suspended in numerous Iranian cities following the Israeli attack. Explosions rocked the vicinity of Isfahan Airport as the Israeli Air Force launched an operation near Isfahan Air Base.

In response, Iran activated its air defense system in Isfahan province, while fighter jets took to the skies in southern and western Iraq. Iran also suspended flights to major cities like Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz.

The Israeli strikes extended beyond Iran’s borders, with various locations in Syria and Iraq also being targeted. Explosions were reported in al-Suwayda, Syria, and in Baghdad and Babylon, Iraq.

Iran had previously warned of a robust response to any Israeli aggression. Foreign Minister Hossein Abdullahian emphasized Iran’s readiness to retaliate decisively against further military actions targeting Iranian interests.

Addressing a Security Council meeting, Abdullahian stressed Iran’s restraint thus far but expressed willingness to provide the United Nations with an opportunity to mitigate the escalating conflict in the region.
