Islamabad: The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Alfred Grannas, met with the Federal Minister for Law and Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar, today.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the longstanding bilateral relations between Pakistan and Germany. The Minister stated that Pakistan greatly values its enduring relationship with Germany.
The Minister also briefed the Ambassador on the measures taken by Pakistan in the field of human rights.
The discussion also covered the situation in Balochistan. Minister Tarar emphasized that governments are bound to act according to the Constitution and the law. He further stated that those who take the law into their own hands will be dealt with strictly, in accordance with the law.
The overall state of relations between Germany and Pakistan was also reviewed during the meeting.
