Federal Ombudsman Team Pays Visit to Islamabad International Airport (IIAP)

The Federal Ombudsman team, led by Senior Advisor Syed Asif Shah and Grievances Commissioner Dr. Inam Ul Haq Javeid, visited Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) to assess the facilities and services available to passengers, particularly overseas Pakistanis.

 

 

The team visited key areas, including the international and domestic departure and arrival zones, and interacted with immigration personnel. They evaluated the Customs information desk, screens, signage, ASF baggage hold, joint search area, and One Window Facilitation Desk (OWFD) operations, says press note.

 

The team also engaged with passengers in both international and domestic areas, expressing satisfaction with the services and processes at IIAP. They also visited the CIPs and Serena lounges, praised the complimentary Lipton tea service, massage chairs, and children’s play area. The team concluded their visit with commendations for the airport management.
