EuroVillage, the highly anticipated cultural festival organized by the European Union and its Member States, is set to captivate Twin Cities’ residents on the 17th of February at the “Jinnah Convention Center” in Islamabad. Opening its doors at 2 pm, this family-centric event invites the Pakistani public to immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of European food, culture, music, and sustainable initiatives.
Aligned with the theme “Stronger Together – Sustainable Forever,” this year’s EuroVillage is a testament to the enduring 60+ years of collaboration between the EU and Pakistan. The festival showcases the robust ties in development, economy, culture, research, education, and political engagement, illustrating the collective strength of the EU and Pakistan.
EuroVillage is a collaborative effort by the diplomatic missions of the European Union, as well as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and Spain. The event promises a diverse range of experiences, featuring information and activity booths tailored for both adults and children. Attendees can engage in interactive games, explore selfie corners, savor European cuisine, and seize the opportunity to connect with diplomatic teams, gaining insights into the evolving partnership.
Highlighting the festive atmosphere, EuroVillage boasts live performances by European artists and Pakistani sensations Farhan Saeed and Quratulain Balouch. This convergence of cultures promises a unique blend of entertainment and cross-cultural understanding.
