Empowering Pakistan’s Youth: NAVTTC Partners with Tang Chinese International Education for Vocational Skills Development

National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) of Pakistan and Tang Chinese International Education convened on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the NAVTTC headquarters in Islamabad to discuss collaborative efforts aimed at advancing vocational education in the country.

 

Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, Chairperson of NAVTTC, and Song Jianying, CEO of Tang, spearheaded the discussion, nurturing a productive exchange focused on the integration of skill education into the national curriculum, amplifying hands-on training for students, and broadening employment prospects for Pakistan’s youth.

Gulmina emphasized the pivotal role of skill education in national development, commending NAVTTC’s ongoing efforts in cultivating a skilled workforce. She expressed gratitude to Tang for their interest in partnering with NAVTTC to elevate the quality of vocational education in Pakistan.

 

Song Jianying reiterated Tang’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to Pakistan’s education landscape by providing enhanced opportunities for youth. He underscored the transformative potential of skill-based education in empowering youth to secure meaningful employment opportunities.

 

The discussions concluded with both parties exploring areas of collaboration, including scholarship provision, teacher training programs, student exchange initiatives, and joint project development to address the challenges confronting vocational education in Pakistan.
