The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Islamabad unveils the highly anticipated 2024 K-pop World Festival, set to captivate audiences with its electrifying performances and showcase of talent. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, and KBS (Korean Public Service Media), the festival stands as the pinnacle of K-pop celebrations worldwide.
Scheduled for the 28th of June, the event promises a thrilling display of talent at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad. Aspiring performers are invited to showcase their skills in two dynamic categories: K-pop vocal and K-pop cover dance.
Applicants eager to partake in this cultural extravaganza can seize the opportunity by submitting their video entries between May 17th and May 31st. Following a rigorous online preliminary round from June 3rd to June 5th, selected teams will vie for victory at the regional preliminary round.
Details of the Regional Preliminary Round:
– Date and Time: 28th June 2024 (Friday), 6:00 PM
– Venue: PNCA, F-5/1, Islamabad
– Qualification: Participants proficient in K-pop vocal performance or cover dance
The Embassy emphasizes that Korean citizens are ineligible to apply for this event.

– K-pop Vocal (Korean ballade is acceptable)
– K-pop Cover Dance
