The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Islamabad proudly announces the 2024 K-pop World Festival Regional Preliminary Round, set to take place on June 28, 2024, at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), F-5/1, Islamabad. The event will commence at 6:00 PM and features two competition categories: K-pop vocal performance and K-pop cover dance.
The festival, the world’s largest K-pop event, is co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, and KBS (Korean Public Service Media). Selected teams from each country’s regional preliminary rounds will advance to the final competition in Changwon, Republic of Korea.
Participants, excluding Korean citizens, can showcase their talent by submitting a video file of their performance. The submission window for the online preliminary round was from May 17 to May 31, 2024, with evaluations conducted from June 3 to June 5, 2024. Shortlisted candidates have been individually notified by the Embassy.

Applicants were required to submit their videos through a provided Google Forms link. Video submissions were to be titled with the participant’s type, name, phone number, and email for proper identification.
