The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan following the historic victory of javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, who secured a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
In a message shared on its official social media accounts, the Embassy of Iran lauded this monumental achievement, stating: “Bravo Pakistan 🇵🇰 Such a historical moment for our brothers and sisters.”
The Embassy further emphasized the significance of this victory for Pakistan, adding: “Congratulations to the people of Pakistan for this great moment.”
Arshad Nadeem’s extraordinary throw of 92.97 meters not only earned him the gold medal but also shattered a 118-year-old Olympic record, making it a moment of immense pride for Pakistan. The Embassy’s message highlighted this achievement: “Pakistan’s javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem broke the 118 years Olympic record with a throw of 92.97m and won the gold medal for Pakistan during the Paris 2024 Olympics final at the Stade de France on Thursday.”
