On the solemn occasion of July 8th, the Embassy of Iran joins Pakistan in commemorating the Demise Anniversary of Molana Abdul Sattar Edhi. A revered figure in Pakistani society, Molana Abdul Sattar Edhi was celebrated for his unwavering dedication and profound contributions to humanity.

Ambassador Amiri Moghadam expressed heartfelt sentiments, highlighting Molana Edhi’s legacy as a humanitarian, philanthropist, and ascetic who founded the renowned Edhi Foundation. This organization operates Pakistan’s largest ambulance network, shelters for the homeless and animals, rehabilitation centers, and orphanages, profoundly impacting countless lives across the nation.

 

“Molana Abdul Sattar Edhi remains an enduring symbol of compassion and selflessness,” remarked Ambassador Moghadam. “His tireless efforts and commitment to serving humanity continue to inspire us all.”

 

The Embassy of Iran extends its deepest condolences to the people of Pakistan on this occasion and joins them in honoring the memory of Molana Abdul Sattar Edhi, praying for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
