Riyadh, August 12, 2025 — Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-time partner Georgina Rodríguez are officially engaged, marking a new chapter in their nine-year relationship.
The 31-year-old Rodríguez shared the news on Instagram on Monday, posting a photo of herself wearing a stunning engagement ring. The caption, written in Spanish, read: “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”
According to CNN Ronaldo, 40, and Rodríguez have two daughters together. She has also been a devoted stepmother to Ronaldo’s three other children. In 2022, the couple endured the heartbreaking loss of one of their newborn twins, a boy.
The pair first met in 2016 when Rodríguez was working at a Gucci store in Madrid. Since then, their relationship has grown steadily under the media spotlight.
Ronaldo, who has played for iconic clubs such as Real Madrid and Manchester United, currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, where the family now resides.
