Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Canada Muhammad Saleem has highlighted opportunities for enhancing bilateral economic, trade and cultural ties between Pakistan and Canada.
Addressing a ceremony at Pakistan High Commission in Ottawa he said Canada is among the top five investor countries in Pakistan and urged the business community for enhancing investment portfolio in mining, IT, agriculture, energy and infrastructure sectors.
The High Commissioner also encouraged members of the Canadian business community to capitalize on the favorable investment climate and government facilitation policies in Pakistan. Additionally, he emphasized the significance of enhancing cultural exchanges and people-to-people contacts to further solidify the friendship between the two nations.
The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, community representatives, and officials from both countries.
