Arshad Nadeem has successfully qualified for the final round of the javelin throw event at the Paris Olympics, emerging as Pakistan’s leading contender for an Olympic medal. Out of the seven athletes representing Pakistan, Nadeem remains the last hope for a medal, as the other six have exited the games.

The 27-year-old javelin thrower has a history of remarkable achievements. He clinched a silver medal at the World Championships last year and made history at the Commonwealth Games 2022 by winning the gold medal with a throw covering an impressive distance of 90.18 meters. This feat marked him as the first Pakistani athlete since 1962 to win gold at the Commonwealth Games.
